Very interesting day today. Thanks so much to Mike Treadway for his extremely creative guidance. Mike will have the finished recording done by Monday. Can't wait to hear it! It was the creepiest version of "The Hollow Men" that I've every experienced :-)

Great job today with the student teachers. I think they quite enjoyed your various versions of "My Last Duchess". Once again, I thank you all for being the awesome class that you are!!

Working on Invictus and Ulysses was even more inspiring when we added... BACON! We are the captains of our fate, we are the masters of our souls!!!

Well, today went remarkably
well for a first try! Great job on most of the stations and the GPS devices were sort of accurate! All in all it was a great day and the singing (screaming?) on the bus ride home was an added highlight.

In addition to some very memorable
mouse dances, we had haggis and a professional bagpipe performance! Thank you to Tristan for his musical talents (and his enthusiastic consuption of the haggis!) A great Scottish role model!

It was our turn to host the kindergarteners today and I must thank you again for being such good (and patient!) hosts. They REALLY enjoyed their visit and almost everyone got their book pages completed. Great job you guys!!

A very productive day spent getting all the photos taken for our "Rape of the Lock" comic. Thanks to all of you for being so good with all of our guests!

Awesome visit today with our little buddies at Carmi. You all did a great job working with them on their books and with planting their flowers. The focus of today was on personal identity. Who are  you and what is the mark you want to make on the world? This directly links to our 18th century and Romantic poets who marched to the beat of their own drum, and used their talents as writers to challenge the status quo.

Awesome day. Hilarious. Most intense performance definitely goes to Lindy. Most memorable moment: FRENCH ARMY sculptorades question.

The coffeehouse was invented in the 18th Century so of course it was important that we have a lesson IN an actual coffeehouse! We did the first part of "The Rape of the Lock" today. Everything is better with a laid back atmosphere and a London Fog- especially old poems about rich people acting with intense stupidity.
