Today we discussed the concept of "What makes something last?" and took a look at popular culture from 1995. Literature 12 deals with the idea of "culture" and why things last over time that capture our values as a society. We began the Epic piece: "Beowulf". 1. What qualities make someone a hero?
2. Who is a hero to you?
3. What are some examples of modern day heroes? (real or fiction)
