Transitioning from the 18th Century Poets (Chuldliegh, Pope, and Swift) into the "Pre-Romantics" (Burns, Blake and Gray). We spent some time working on the differences in philosophies between the two and then finished off with "Auld Lang Syne" (Robert Burns' most famous work) and discussed "cultural history". Field trip tomorrow!! Dress warmly!!
