Today we left the complicated themes and imagery of the Metaphysical poets and traded it for the "Seize the Day" motto of the Cavalier Poets. We wrote our "Life Lists" which included some very inspirational (and some very entertaining) goals. Just remember, if each person in the class did just ONE thing from their life list, what an amazing collection of experiences it would be! We finished off by studying the Cavalier poem "To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time" by Robert Herrick. Gather ye rosebuds while ye may! Have a great Thanksgiving weekend everyone!
