We started a new unit today. We watched about 20 minutes of the movie "Restoration" to get an idea of the context for the poems. Then we began with they background info for "The Rape of the Lock" by Alexander Pope. We discussed "parody" (thank you Weird Al) and ran out of time when we started writing our own lines of a mock epic description of Slim Kitty and D-Pizzle. Tomorrow is KING LEAR KRANIUM!!
